Marcia Jones

Marcia is the founder of Urban Connoisseurs, LLC. Urban Connoisseurs’ mission is to connect the connoisseur to the Black winemakers. Marcia brings over 20 years of accomplished professional experience in consulting, project and event management, with demonstrated skills developing excellent relationships with major clients in corporate, government and not-for-profit sectors. She also created The Black Winemaker Scholarship funds that annually awards 2 – $10K scholarships to future winemakers. Marcia is currently working on a documentary, Journey between the Vines: The Black Winemakers’ Story, and a book about the history of Black winemakers.

Jesse Rhodes

Jesse Rhodes is a DEI leader, social entrepreneur, and philanthropist with over 24 years of professional and Big 4 experience. He is currently the Head of Inclusion, Diversity & Equity for Infrastructure Services at Amazon Web Services; Chair of After School All-Stars, Puget Sound Chapter; and the owner of Poco Bar & Lounge located in Seattle, Washington. Mr. Rhodes also serves on several boards – positions include Vice-Chair of the Board of Governors of Columbia Tower Club, and National Board member of NABA, Inc. and several others. He Al’s o volunteers with several foundations, including Wonder of Women International, which focuses on serving Black women and girls, among others.

Kelli Thoumsin

Kelli Thoumsin is the co-Founder of the Soul of Seattle. Kelli is a small business owner who enjoys tackling the hard stuff and taking time to appreciate the soft stuff. She believes in supporting others' goals so they can shine their brightest and have the biggest impact.

Ruby Love

Ruby Love is a transformational business leader and founder of Love Resource Development Group, LLC. She is an entrepreneur and strategist known for advocating for socially responsible businesses and community organizations. Her career has afforded relationships that have brought millions of much-needed philanthropic support to the arts, education, STEM, social services, and advancing philanthropy. She has served as Chair and on the executive team of the Association of Fundraising Professionals in Rockford, IL; Chicago, IL; and Washington State. She has served as Chief Development Officer to such organizations as United Way of King County, College Success Foundation, and Washington STEM. Her clients have included Pacific Lutheran University, Xavier University, Girl Scouts USA, Wilberforce University, Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, Community to Community, Children of the Setting Sun, Seattle Black Panther Party Legacy Project, Northwest African American Museum, Front and Centered, and others. Following over thirty years on staff and as principal of Love Resource Development Group, she transitioned to Venture Scale, one of Washington State’s first social purpose corporations.

Sheila Dixon

After 36 years working with the Boeing company, Sheila retired from her Chief of Staff position, and started Vivacious Woman, LLC.

Chef Wayne Johnson

FareStart's Executive Corporate Senior Advisor of Culinary & Community Engagement. Prior to joining FareStart, Chef Wayne honed his culinary craft at Ray's Boathouse, Andaluca and the prestigious Renaissance Parc 55 in San Francisco.

Edouardo Jordan

Edouardo Jordan is the Founder of the Soul of Seattle. He founded SOS in 2019 to highlight Black culinary talent while supporting youth in Seattle. He is a two-time James Beard Award winning Chef and is the Owner and Executive Chef of JuneBaby restaurant in the Ravenna neighborhood.
